Formlabs elevates its SLS and SLA ecosystems with new applications, better post-processing, and improved user experience: New Resin Washing Solution, Clear Cast Resin, Fuse Blast Polishing System and more.

Following the groundbreaking introduction of Form 4 and Form 4B earlier this year, Formlabs continues to push forward and expand its best-in-class SLA and SLS ecosystems. This expansion comes in the form of a new material for investment casting, a polishing solution for SLS parts, a new non-flammable solvent for cleaning SLA printed parts, a fully contained SLS powder recovery solution, and Open Material Mode on Form 4 and Form 4B. 

Clear Cast Resin

3D print accurate, low ash patterns for investment casting directly in-house. Clear Cast Resin is a material designed for investment casting, to directly print patterns that can be invested and cast. It has an extremely low thermal expansion, low ash, and no trace heavy metals.

Clear Cast Resin, paired with a latticing software, is recommended for use with larger parts, excelling at producing geometries thicker than 3 mm.

Fuse Blast Polishing System

Polish SLS parts to a smooth, semi-gloss, and dye-ready finish. The Fuse Blast Polishing System is a drop-in upgrade to the Fuse Blast that allows users to add a smooth, semi-gloss, scuff-resistant, and dye-ready surface finish to their SLS printed parts. With the Polishing System, users can create parts for consumer-facing, end-use applications with improved feel and appearance.

This single-step add-on to the Fuse Blast both cleans and polishes your parts straight from the Fuse Sift without the need for another Blast.

Formlabs Resin Washing Solution

Clean your 3D printed parts with Formlabs Resin Washing Solution, the next-generation part cleaning solution that cleans as well as IPA, is non-flammable per GHS classification, and is safe enough for any workspace.

This washing solution has twice the longevity of IPA and minimal evaporation and odor, reducing wash replenishing and cost per wash.
