About this session

Preparing the next generation of professionals.

The integration of emerging technologies in architecture, construction and engineering higher education and preparing the next generation of professionals for a more efficient, integrated and sustainable industry.

Throughout our modern world, the construction industry is beginning to hustle to keep up with increasing demands for tighter regulations and more environmentally friendly solutions. It becomes increasingly exasperating trying to incorporate new technology into existing educational programs or attempting to prepare students for 21st- century innovations without proper guidance or a substantial curriculum in place.

For both engineers and architects alike, a need persists for an integrated approach when it comes to higher education involving technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), advanced materials, high performance design tactics and expanding software capabilities; all of which are essential components of not only present day engineering but also its future evolution right through becoming sustainable professionals in architecture & engineering.
